Morning ventilation and heat: a losing duo

Another often underestimated consequence is heat loss. In the morning, the heating system is just starting to warm the house after the night. By opening the windows, you let this precious heat escape. The walls cool down even more and become even more susceptible to condensation.
The heating system then has to work harder to reach a comfortable temperature. The result: a persistent feeling of cold, less pleasant air, and unnecessarily higher energy consumption. All this without any real benefit to indoor air quality.
